The History of The Independence

In 1498,the Portuguese navigator Vasco de Gama arrived in India.But the important nations of Europe (France,Holland...) wanted India for his commerce.Finally,England "won" India.

Three Centuries later,English business men created "English East India Company".

In 1857,Indian soldiers wanted to make a revolution,but in 1858,they had to drop.In 1876,Queen Victoria became empress of India.There were lots of manifestations from the WW2 when Britain promised to the India,his Independrnce .

But,finally,they refused to give to the India his Indepandance.At this moment,Gandhi decided to fight pacifically (manifestations,boycotts) against Britain.Finally,the July 18th 1947 proclaimed his Independence.But there were lots of problems with the economy and the religion (Buddhism/Islam).Finally,in 1948,Inida decided to separe him in two parts,India and Pakistan.

Now,there are vestiges of the Colonization of India,like the language or some traditions.
